What's New with this Product?

Due to the significantly higher bioavailability of 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF) compared to 'ordinary' (synthetic) folic acid, a reduction from 600 to 400 mcg is possible. Some other ingredients have also been reviewed and adjusted downwards where possible (especially the B vitamins), whereby large dosages are still realized. This has freed up space for increasing other essential nutrients (especially for pregnant women), such as choline, vitamin C, vitamin K2, calcium and magnesium. In addition, vitamin K1 has also been added to support blood clotting function.

Why is it important to take Vitamin A during pregnancy?

Every Day Mama, therefore, contains 3 mg of natural beta-carotene (pro-vitamin A) and 150 mcg of vitamin A. This is a desirable and very safe dosage of vitamin A. Of the beta-carotene present, the body will not convert more into vitamin A than it needs, and this will not lead to too high vitamin A levels. Optimal dosages to meet increased needs during pregnancy. Moreover, it is well known that folic acid is essential prior to and during pregnancy.

Is it optimal for the increased needs during pregnancy?

Women are advised to take 400 mcg of folic acid per day 4 weeks before conception and during the first 10 weeks of pregnancy. Every Day Mama uses a superior, biologically active form of folic acid (folate) bound to glucosamine salt (Quatrefolic®). The bond with glucosamine salt makes it possible to keep the biologically active form stable and ensures optimal absorption. This multi contains 400 mcg 5-methyltetrahydrofolate per tablet.

Every Day Mama contains a generous dosage of 30 mcg of vitamin B12 in the biologically active forms of methyl and adenosylcobalamin. These body forms are better absorbed and available in the body for longer than the usual synthetic form of vitamin B12 in supplements (cyanocobalamin). A vital nutrient during pregnancy is choline. The formula contains no less than 150 mg of choline per tablet.

Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding need more vitamin D. Every Day Mama, therefore, contains a large dosage of 25 mcg of vitamin D3. In addition, it is of plant origin and thus suitable for vegans.

Women generally need more iron than men. During pregnancy, women need even more iron to support the production of cells and tissues. Every Day Mama contains a large daily dose of 28 mg iron from the stomach-friendly iron bisglycinate (Ferrochel®), a well-absorbable amino acid chelate from Albion (TRAACS®). In addition, the formula now contains no less than 200 mg of vitamin C, which is, among other things, conducive to the absorption of iron.
